Who should take the programs?
Our participants are mainly C Level Executives, Vice President, Executive Director, Managing Director, General Manager, Director, Regional Head, Department Head, Manager, Professionals, etc.
Most of them have extensive managerial experience with average working experience of 18 years. 92% of them are bachelor, master or doctoral degree holder (Figure of 2022 programs).
What is the medium of instruction?
The medium of instruction for open programs is English or Mandarin.
What is the usual class size of the programs?
It is about 25 to 40 participants.
Do I earn credit for attending open programs?
All programs are non-credit bearing. A certificate of attendance will be awarded by the HKUST Business School to participants upon completion.

What types of payment are accepted?
There are 2 options:
- Cheque: Mail a cheque payable to "The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology" with your completed registration form or confirmation email (online registration)
- Bank Transfer (by request), please refer to invoice for details
All payment should be made before the program commences.
What is included in the program fee?
The program fee (face-to-face programs) includes:
- All course materials, binders, articles, cases, teaching notes and textbooks (if applicable)
- The use of fully equipped executive education classroom, lounge and breakout rooms (if applicable) during the program period
- Refreshment and lunch during program period
- Certificate of attendance awarded by HKUST Business School (upon completion)
Is there any special offer?
For short programs, you can enjoy Early Bird rate or Alumni/Group discount (for 3 or more concurrent registrations).

When will I receive the program details?
The following program details will be sent to you by email 10 days prior to the program commencement date:
- Pre-readings (if any)
- Daily schedule
- Transportation details
- Temporary campus parking form
- Map
What is your cancellation policy?
A 50% refund of program fee is available for cancellation received in writing at least 4 weeks prior to the program commencement date.
How do I get to the campus?
The Executive Education classrooms are located at 3/F, Lee Shau Kee Business Building, HKUST, Clear Water Bay, Kowloon

If you will take taxi, you can enter the campus via either the Southern Entrance (next to TVB City) or the main entrance.

What is the parking arrangement?
Please complete the Temporary Campus Parking form by the deadline stated in email. We will process your application once received. You are suggested to enter campus via Southern Entrance (near TVB City) and park near Lee Shau Kee Business Building. For direction, please refer to signage.

Is there any campus accommodation?
Open program participants who prefer to stay in campus during the program may reserve guestroom at Conference Lodge. Please contact Mr. Garrie Pang for information.

Can we access internet in HKUST?
Free WiFi is available in all Executive Education Classrooms.
What is the lunch arrangement during program?
Normally, we provide refreshment breaks and lunch (round-table or buffet) for full-day programs held at campus. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the program.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for our programs is smart casual.
