The Disruptive Technologies Program designed by HKUST for Hang Seng has enabled effective learning of future banking skills for 35 executives in the bank. A team from Volkswagen Group management enjoyed a very well prepared customized Financial Training for Non-Finance Managers. The training gave us insight about how to understand Financial Statements, how to assess the financial health of a company, what does Value Based Management mean and at least the background of Dealer and Customer Financing. The whole program adopted examples from Volkswagen Group, bridging theory to practice.

The one-day workshop by Professor Roger King to help prepare the next generation for succession into the family business and to be responsible custodians of the family legacy was interesting, insightful and impactful. Professor King achieved this with a combination of excellent research material and presentation skills as well as through interactive case studies including reflective interviews with the protagonists involved. The various components of the workshop were very relevant and enthralling to the participants.
